DALLAS - The Winnipeg Jets broke their three-game losing streak with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Dallas Stars Saturday night.

Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec had a huge game, stopping 36 shots and three more in the shootout.

Jets captain Andrew Ladd scored the only goal of the shootout.

It was an extremely entertaining overtime, with both teams getting good chances to score and both goaltenders coming up with big saves. The Jets outshot the Stars 6-2 in the extra period.
