Claude Noel believes his group is a bit bogged down right now by the lack of recent results.

The head coach of the Winnipeg Jets was reinforcing the positives on Saturday morning and urging his team to play more freely as they attempt to snap a three-game losing skid against the New Jersey Devils on Sunday as they continue a six-game homestand.

“Sometimes there’s some uncertainty in playing with each other and sometimes that’s what happens when you don’t win,” said Noel, whose club is 2-3. “To me, we’re not playing very loose as a group. We’re playing a little bit tense and it’s resulting in less free flowing and more ‘don’t get caught’ and sometimes you get that. We’re indecisive in some areas.”
