Here they go again.

One of the streakiest teams in the NHL last season has already started another one — and it ain’t pretty.

The Winnipeg Jets are officially on a skid, kicking off a six-game homestand with another brutal first period and getting a well-deserved, 4-1 spanking at the hands of the Dallas Stars as a result.

That’s three straight losses after a pair of season-opening wins, and while that may be a good poker hand, it’s a loser’s deal in sports.

Another full house in Winnipeg was not amused, kicking off their Thanksgiving weekend like this. The turkey was supposed to wait until Sunday or Monday.

But the Jets ordered one up for a Friday, 7 p.m. delivery to Portage and Hargrave, and the Stars were only to happy to dig in, beating the stuffing out of the home side in an opening 20 minutes that would make any bird blush.
