WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets will try to nip in the bud their first losing streak of the season against the visiting Dallas Stars tonight.

The Jets, a streaky team last season, are coming off a listless, 2-1 loss in Minnesota last night, their second straight defeat of the young season.

“This is what we were talking about before the season,” centre Bryan Little said. “We’ve got to be able to bounce back from a couple of tough losses and turn it around quickly. We’re just trying to stay positive. We want to be more consistent this year. We don’t want to be streaky.

We want to turn things around as soon as possible. Tonight’s a great example of a chance to do that.”

A good place to start would be in the faceoff circle, where the Jets were pummelled in Minnesota.

Little took the worst of it, winning just one of his 20 draws.

“It’s kind of like when you’re in a slump. It gets in your head a bit, and you’re kind of over-thinking things,” he said.
