The good news is the Winnipeg Jets remain in first place in the NHL’s SouthLeast Division.

The bad news is everything else.

Some losses are easier to recover from than others.

These last two home-ice disasters against the Washington Capitals, 4-0 on Thursday, 6-1 a day later, won’t be.

The Jets can say all they want about it being just a bump in the road, but this has the potential to take what was a promising run at a playoff spot and dump it straight in the ditch.
