WINNIPEG - It was deja-boo all over again for the Winnipeg Jets, Thursday night.
Just 19 days after suffering the indignation of being shut out at home, the Jets allowed the same team to do it again.
And we’re not talking about an Eastern Conference powerhouse like Pittsburgh or Boston, here.
No, the Jets can handle those teams on home ice.
It’s the enigmatic Washington Capitals they freeze up against.
The Jets had all the flow of a frozen garden hose and handled the puck like it was a hand grenade in falling flat, again, to the 14th-place Caps, this time by a 4-0 count.

“We’ve given up seven goals in two games and haven’t scored (ital) one (ital),” an agitated Jets head coach said, referencing Washington’s last visit, a 3-0 win, in a searching-for-answers post-game session with the media.
