The way captain Andrew Ladd sees it, the Winnipeg Jets played one and a half good games on their four-game road trip.
“Being honest, I didn’t like our first game, didn’t like our third game and the first half of this game,” Ladd said after the Jets lost 3-2 in a shootout to the New Jersey Devils Sunday night.
“He stated it correctly,” Jets coach Claude Noel added. “And we come out 2-1-1.”
The Jets were terrible for the first 15 minutes of the hockey game, getting outshot 10-1 at one point and trailing 2-0 after goals by Ryan Carter and Stephen Gionta.
