Jets hope Lightning don't strike again

TAMPA, FLA. - The last thing Jets coach Claude Noel wanted was to give his team a day off Wednesday after their disheartening loss to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.

Because of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league the players, his hand was forced and that’s part of the reason why he was having so much trouble letting the frustrating effort against Florida go on Wednesday.

When Thursday came around, Noel was in a much better mood, partly because he had a chance to work on a few things during the gameday skate at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
