Jets coach Claude Noel not ruling out lineup changes

Winnipeg Jets head coach Claude Noel isn’t ruling out lineup changes for Saturday’s game against Washington — even though his team is on a roll.

“I don’t live by that rule,” Noel said, Friday. “I change the lineup... it doesn’t matter to me. I’m not superstitious in that fashion. You do things that you feel necessary to continue to win. And if it means moving people around, and in, then that’s the way it goes.”

One candidate for insertion is forward Antti Miettinen, cleared to play after taking a shot to his midsection in New Jersey, last Sunday.

Nik Antropov, who blocked a shot with his foot in Thursday’s win over the Devils, here, practised today and appears to be OK.

In an attempt to improve their shot-blocking — and prevent further injuries doing it — the Jets practised for a time with tennis balls.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
