Jets have faith in each other
Team believes it can win

Claude Noel began his media sermon, Wednesday, with a good-natured poke at the congregation.

“It’s nice to see that I don’t need to be depressed up here,” the head coach of the born-again Winnipeg Jets said. “And you guys bring me down deeper into the dark hole of hell.”

There was no going down that hole on this day. Four wins in five road games will have that effect.

It’s a far cry from the fork and horns Noel was sporting 10 days ago, when the heat was on high after his team’s home-ice losing streak had reached four games.

The road was an unlikely place for the Jets to find salvation, but they did. And it didn’t take Ten Commandments, either.

Just a few.
