Jets rookie Zach Redmond resting after surgery on femoral artery

Jets coach Claude Noel comments on serious skate cut to Zach Redmond

RALEIGH, N.C. - Winnipeg Jets defenceman Zach Redmond suffered a deep cut to his right leg at the end of Thursday's morning skate, was taken by ambulance to a Raleigh-area hospital and underwent successful surgery.

Redmond went under the knife for nearly three hours on Thursday afternoon to repair the laceration to his right femoral artery and vein — which is in the mid-thigh region above the knee.

Through a statement, the Jets said that Redmond “is currently resting comfortably in recovery and is expected to be out for an indefinite period of time.”

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
