It's make-or-break time for Winnipeg Jets

Less than a month into the shortened season, and it has already come to this.

You know it, Ondrej Pavelec knows it, and Claude Noel knows it: The Jets are facing a make-or-break road trip that could put the dagger into their season.

Manitoba’s favourite hockey team produced another of their usual outings on Sunday night at MTS Centre, this time against the Boston Bruins. It was one those good efforts that didn’t produce enough goals.

This is a recording.

The result was a 3-2 loss that extended their home losing streak to four, their overall losing skid to three and left them with more points than just one team, the Columbus Blue Jackets, in the entire NHL. Their five-game road trip begins Tuesday in Buffalo, and Pavelec is already talking like it’s make or break.

Gulp.

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
