WINNIPEG - Winning one of every three games isn't going to cut it for the Winnipeg Jets, nor is averaging a point a game.

Getting 84 points last season got them an early start on summer, after all.

But going from gawd-awful to impressive in three days, with a stop at resilient along the way, is at least travelling in the right direction.

The Jets' 4-2 win in Washington, Tuesday, was easily the team's most complete effort so far, and a sign that maybe things will be different in a couple of areas.
