WINNIPEG - It’s not often you hear a head coach say how happy he is, but that’s exactly how Claude Noel was feeling, Wednesday.

Apparently the Jets head man didn’t even notice the wind chill when he cut short another night’s sleep — the Jets arrived home from Washington early in the morning — to get back to work.

“Happy comes with winning,” Noel said. “I woke up and I thought, god, it’s nice to win. It’s a sunny day. You look forward to getting to the rink even though you’re tired. When you don’t win you want to stay in bed, lie in the fetal position for a couple of hours.”

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
