Scheifele hopes to stick with Jets

Mark Scheifele has a narrow focus going into his second training camp with the Winnipeg Jets.

And as he met the media on Saturday afternoon at MTS Centre after an informal skate that attracted only seven skaters and goalie Al Montoya, Scheifele wasn't hiding the fact he'd like to make Winnipeg his permanent residence for the next few months.

After getting off to a great start with the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League and spending the bulk of the World Junior Hockey Championship on Canada's top line, Scheifele's confidence is high.

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
  Yes, he's perfect
  No, he's not ready
  Bring him to Montreal!
