WINNIPEG - A photo flap had Winnipeg Jets offensive force Evander Kane playing a little defence on Wednesday afternoon.
Twitter was at the root of the problem for the locked-out winger, who sent out a picture of himself in Las Vegas from a trip back in November, standing on a hotel balcony and posing with two large wads of cash in his hands.
Kane, a 21-year-old who signed a six-year extension worth $31.5 million just before the collective bargaining agreement expired, was holding one stack of bills to his ear, apparently using it a cash phone to make a pretend call to boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
