No Golden Jet, no problem for fans
By BRANDON LOGAN, QMI Agency

Carter Reimer, 7, shows off his Chicago Black Hawks jersey signed by former-NHLer Dennis Hull at the Target Road Trip caravan at Red River Exhibition Park on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in Winnipeg, Man. Jason Halstead/Winnipeg Sun/QMI Agency

Winnipeggers braved the bitter cold Tuesday night to get a chance to meet NHL legends Dennis and Bobby Hull — or that's who they thought they were meeting.

Instead of meeting the Golden Jet, they got current Winnipeg Jets' captain Andrew Ladd.

Dennis Hull said his brother was double booked for the evening and couldn't make it.

The Target Road Trip caravan, which stopped by Red River Exhibition Park's Winter Wonderland, gave fans a chance to get autographs and photos with Dennis Hull, who played on Team Canada in the 1972 Summit Series and scored 303 NHL goals, and Ladd as well as a chance to show off some of their on-ice skills on the outdoor rink.

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
  Yes, he's perfect
  No, he's not ready
  Bring him to Montreal!
