WINNIPEG - It looks like the Winnipeg Jets injury woes haven't been solved just yet.

Although the team is set to practice in Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, the status of injured forwards Evander Kane (concussion), Tim Stapleton (lower-body) and Alex Burmistrov (possible concussion) remains up in the air as the Jets recalled forwards Aaron Gagnon and Spencer Machacek from the St. Johnís IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

The status of defenceman Dustin Byfuglien, who missed the past 15 games with a knee injury, is also expected to be updated this afternoon.

This is the first recall of the season for Machecek, who leads the IceCaps with 34 points (11 goals, 23 assists) in 44 games and appeared in 12 NHL games (no points) with the Atlanta Thrashers, who selected him in the third round (67th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Gagnon played his first game with the Jets against the New York Rangers and has eight goals and 20 points in 35 games with the IceCaps.

The Jets face the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Jets also made a minor-league deal on Monday, shipping forward Akim Aliu to the Calgary Flames for defenceman John Negrin, who has on assist in 26 games with the Abbotsford Heat this season.
