Jets add restricted free agent Festerling
By KEN WIEBE, QMI Agency

WINNIPEG -- The Winnipeg Jets added some depth to the blue line Thursday, signing Brett Festerling.

A source confirmed the Jets signed the restricted free agent to a one-year, two-way deal that pays $105,000 in the AHL and $577,500 in the NHL.

Festerling, 25, has eight assists in 83 NHL games with the Anaheim Ducks during his career.

He split last season between the Syracuse Crunch, Hamilton Bulldogs and Chicago Wolves in the AHL and appeared in one game with the Ducks.
