Zack Kassian is back in the NHL's dog house.

The Vancouver Canucks forward was handed a three game suspension a day after nailing Dallas Stars defenceman Brenden Dillon into the boards Thursday.

Kassian was assessed a boarding major and a game misconduct with 1:30 left in the first period. Dillon left the game and returned early in the second period.

Kassian, a repeat offender, will forfeit $32,103.66 in salary. He was suspended three preseason and five regular-season games for high-sticking Edmonton Oilers forward Sam Gagner back on Sept. 21.

On the season, Kassian has 11 goals and 18 points in 59 games.
