Roberto Luongo: Toronto Maple Leafs 'obviously part of the equation'
'I'm open to a lot of ideas right now'
By ROB LONGLEY, QMI Agency

Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo speaks to the media during the Jake Milford Canucks Charity Invitational golf tournament at Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey, B.C., Sept. 12, 2012, (CARMINE MARINELLI/QMI Agency)

CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. - It may have come grudgingly at first, but Roberto Luongo is trying to sound like a man warming to the thought of being a Maple Leaf.

Trying, it would seem, to view the prospect as an opportunity rather than a sentence.

Now that the NHL season is back on, so to is the Luongo watch, a situation not lost on the veteran Vancouver Canucks goaltender, a player many feel (hope?) will be headed to Toronto sooner than later.

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
