VANCOUVER - Give Roberto Luongo credit for putting on a good poker face.

The Vancouver Canucks goaltender stressed Monday that he was "good to go", even after he appeared to have injured himself doing the splits to make a save in Sunday's game against the New York Islanders. He also took the shot off his mask.

But Luongo did not practice with the team Tuesday and coach Alain Vigneault said he was day-to-day with an upper body injury.

Cory Schneider will get the start against the Chicago Blackhawks Wednesday at Rogers Arena.

Vigneault also said forward Steve Pinizzotto is out for the season after shoulder surgery last week.
