Sedin hits ice for short spell

Daniel Sedin was back on the ice yesterday, but he just wasn't with the rest of the team.

The injured Canucks forward skated on his own for over 30 minutes prior to the practice, and is doubtful for Friday's game against the Avalanche.

It seems as if Sunday's game against Chicago is the more likely return date.

Daniel has missed 17 games this season, ever since breaking his foot early in October.

In his absence, his brother Henrik has racked up nine goals and 17 points to lead the team with 23 points so far this season.

Do you think the NHL will ever return to Quebec City?
  Yes, no matter what
  Yes, with a new rink
  No, market too small
  No, not a priority
  Unsure
