Canucks taking a breather

Who makes this NHL schedule anyway?

With five days off between games, the Canucks will have plenty of time to reflect on their surprising eight-goal performance against Colorado on Saturday.

More importantly though, they'll also have plenty of practice sessions to improve on areas of their game that contributed to the three losses prior to the 8-2 win against the Avalanche.

The offensive outburst, which saw Henrik Sedin get his first career hat-trick, overshadowed the lack of scoring on the 2-3 road-trip that dropped them to 11-10 on the season.

Of their three defeats, the Canucks only scored one goal per game, with two from Mason Raymond.

They were also out-shot in four of their five games.

Do you think the NHL will ever return to Quebec City?
  Yes, no matter what
  Yes, with a new rink
  No, market too small
  No, not a priority
  Unsure
