Gut shot

When Henrik Sedin took a slap shot off the foot during Tuesday's game against the Rangers, like most of you, I safely assumed it was broken.

I then wondered if medical science could somehow salvage all the good remaining bits from the twins and form one Super Sedin.

That's how close this epidemic has brought me to panic mode.

Trying to find a silver lining with this current M.A.S.H. unit is about as difficult as a pregnant Albertan woman getting her flu shot ahead of Dion Phaneuf.

That said, how many teams can honestly say they know exactly what they have or don't have in their system?

This is valuable data gathering time for the Canucks and they have nothing but bad breaks to thank for it.
