- THE RESULT

The Vancouver Canucks aren't going to win many games if they score only one goal, especially if they rely on their goon to score and their Swedes go silent. That's what happened yesterday when the Minnesota Wild were 2-1 winners.

- BROUHAHA

Aaron "The Wild from Whalley" Voros won a split decision against Canuck Jeff Cowan moments after the opening faceoff.

- RUINED

Roberto Luongo's club-record shutout streak ended at 210:34 because of Eric Belanger's goal with 3:22 left in the first.

- WHAT BROWN CAN DO FOR YOU Canuck Mike Brown tipped in Lukas Krajicek's wrist shot for the first marker of his NHL career.

- YEAH, HIM AGAIN Voros lifted the puck over Luongo for the shorthanded, game-winning goal in the second.

- NEXT UP

Next up: Wednesday night in Chicago, the Canucks meet the Blackhawks (5:30 p.m., Team 1040/pay-per-view).
