The Vancouver Canucks are going for a season-high fourth consecutive win tonight in Calgary against the Flames (6 p.m., Team 1040/Sportsnet).

The Canucks ended 2006 with a trio of wins, including a pair over the Flames. The Canucks were 3-1 winners in Calgary on Boxing Day and registered a 6-5 overtime triumph the next night in the last home game of the calendar. The Canucks led 4-0 after two periods in Edmonton Saturday and coasted to a 6-2 win over the Oilers.

Canuck captain Markus Naslund will be trying to break a scoring slump in the first game of the new year. His last goal was Nov. 28. Since then, he has recorded eight assists.

The Canucks return to Vancouver tomorrow night to host the Dallas Stars in the start of a four-game homestand.

Meanwhile, you have until 8:59 p.m. PST tonight to help decide the NHL All-Star Game rosters. Unless there's a huge last-minute surge, Rory Fitzpatrick appears poised to be headed to Dallas thanks to a nonsensical write-in campaign. He is goalless and only recorded his first assist as a Canuck on Saturday. Teammate Kevin Bieksa is tied for seventh among NHL defencemen with eight goals.
