The Vancouver Canucks start their November schedule against the Wild in Minnesota tonight with revenge on their minds (5 p.m., Team 1040/Sportsnet).

Wild beat the Canucks 2-1 in an Oct. 11 shootout in St. Paul.

The 9-2 Wild will miss Marian Gaborik, who is suffering from a groin strain. Brian Rolston, a 33-year-old, 12-year veteran, leads Minnesota with nine goals and four assists.

Canucks have seven wins in 13 games and are hoping to rebound after ending October with a 3-2 Halloween loss to the Nashville Predators.

Ex-Wild defenceman Willie Mitchell remains in Vancouver with a concussion.

Canucks visit Colorado Avalanche in Denver on Saturday.

Canucks demoted Manitoba Moose goaltender Julien Ellis on Tuesday and defenceman Shaun Heska yesterday to the Victoria Salmon Kings.

- Meanwhile, CH TV reported that last Friday's police raid on the ECHL team's dressing room was connected to a rape investigation. Three players were questioned, but none charged.
