Vancouver Canucks are 0-for-Blue.

The Canucks lost 6-5 to the Columbus Blue Jackets last night in Ohio, less than 24 hours after the last-place Blues beat Vancouver 4-0 on Monday night in St. Louis.

Jason Chimera and Jan Hrdina gave Columbus an early 2-0 lead in the first period. Canucks tied it with power play markers by Sami Salo and Nolan Baumgartner.

The teams traded another pair of goals in the second. Daniel Sedin and Todd Bertuzzi scored for Vancouver.

In the third, Hrdina scored another on the power play for a lead. But, 59 seconds later, Alexandre Burrows had his fourth of the year for the 5-5 tie.

Ex-Canuck Letowski, however, netted the winner with less than five minutes to go when he slipped the puck between goaltender Alex Auld's legs.

Bryan Berard had a goal and two assists for Columbus. American Berard was banned last week from the upcoming Torino Olympics after he tested positive for a steroid. The National Hockey League did not discipline him.

Columbus outshot Vancouver 43-33.

Vancouver defenseman Ed Jovanovski left the game in the first period after aggravating his tender groin.

Canucks continue the seven-game road trip tomorrow night in Detroit.
