Canucks' 7-5-1 goaltender Alex Auld's 2.57 goals against average is 10th best in the league.

24 hours: How do you recover from losses like the ones to Colorado?

#35, Alex Auld: "You've just gotta forget about it, move on and work hard the next day. It's the same game, you've got to go back to the basics and battle through."

24: Talk about goaltending coach Ian Clark.

#35: "It's great to have him around, you make sure you stay precise. He's an outsider who watches and he's a little more objective than the main coaches. He's able to separate himself a bit, and be honest. You develop a relationship with a guy like that. You feel real comfortable telling him things and him telling you things."

24: Do you watch yourself on video?

#35: "More the mechanics of my movement and all sorts of things, rather than each individual goal. It's important that you be as accurate as possible in your movements, the repetition is so important. I've got to make sure I'm not picking up bad habits."

24: Talk about the new rules for goalies?

#35: "The equipment is smaller, that's a bit of an adjustment, you don't even really notice. Probably the biggest thing is more traffic in front of the net, more guys going to the crease and you have to battle to find the puck through traffic and find those rebounds. It's a lot of tougher for the defensemen to move the guys out. Guys can go to the net without paying the price they used to."
