The Dominator won't be rushed back into action.
After picking up goalie Mike Morrison on waivers from the Oilers yesterday, Senators GM John Muckler said No. 1 netminder Dominik Hasek can have all the time he needs to recover from his adductor muscle strain.
Now Hasek, who was supposed to join the team on its road trip in Atlanta today, won't return to action for at least another 10 days.
"We just don't feel there's any need to rush Dominik back," said Muckler. "We feel like this is going to give Dominik time to get completely healthy and I have no doubt that he's going to be ready for the playoffs.
Morrison will back up Ray Emery until Hasek returns.
