Claude Loiselle would love to peer into a crystal ball and see that the Maple Leafs are going to enjoy an injury-free, successful run to the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Instead, the Leafs’ assistant general manager has no choice but to grit it out with the rest of the organization in the Leafs’ final 22 games.

“It has been a crazy season,” Loiselle said on Saturday as he watched the Leafs practise at the MasterCard Centre.

“Every time you think we’re going to be free of injury, there is always something that pops up.”
