TORONTO - On Friday, Dave Bolland said he was “50-50” to play before the Olympic break.

But with Phil Kessel reaching 30 goals and Jonathan Bernier already at 20 wins, the Maple Leafs can tell their injured teammate to take it easy.

With a Kessel hat trick leading the way to his fourth 30-goal year — and 40 now firmly in the forecast — Toronto won its sixth straight at home on Saturday, a 6-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators.

Kessel fired two of his goals in the wild third period, in which bruiser Chris Neil’s goal and third point of the night went behind Bernier with almost no one seeing it until video verified it.
