BOSTON - It is the same locker room they were in last spring, the same sports crazy city that’s intimidating for any opponent, regardless of the sport.

It is the same visiting crease that saw the Maple Leafs suffer their epic Game 7 collapse and the same big, bad Bruins, who intend to make you pay a physical price with every shift.

But two thing that weren’t here last May had a huge presence Tuesday night at the TD Garden to help send the Leafs to an emotionally invigorating 4-3 win over their pesky nemesis.

It didn’t come easy and it didn’t come without some terrifying deja vu moments in the third period. But a pair of goals from Tyler Bozak — who was injured in the infamous Game 7 collapse — and some steady play from Jonathan Bernier — not yet a Leaf in the playoffs — assured their wouldn’t be a total collapse.
