TORONTO - Claude Loiselle is well aware that Tyler Bozak's potential return to action should not be viewed as a "franchise-saviour-coming-back-to-save-the-day" type of story.

This isn't a Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin-type player riding to the rescue.

Still, the fact that the young forward could be ready to face the Carolina Hurricanes at the Air Canada Centre on Sunday certainly provides optimism for a Maple Leafs team that has been wafer-thin at centre with Bozak and Dave Bolland out of the lineup with injuries.

Jay McClement has certainly been no slouch since picking up some of the slack in the absence of Bozak and Bolland, but brings a different skill set to the table than those other two.
