With his Stanley Cup-winning teammates in town on Saturday, it's no surprise that former Blackhawk David Bolland was at the Air Canada Centre to catch up.

The Leafs forward, who was such a big part of his new team's success earlier this season, no longer needs crutches to move around but isn't close to returning to action from the severed tendon he suffered near his left ankle in a game vs. the Canucks on Nov. 2.

"We're on the right path," Bolland told the Chicago Tribune. "It's a slow process, but it's moving toward the positive."

Bolland said he expects to return sometime this season.
