Toronto Maple Leafs' forward David Clarkson has been suspended for two games for an illegal hit on Thursday in St.Louis.

The NHL said Clarkson's contact with Vladimir Sobotka merited the Leaf's second suspension of the season.

Meanwhile, a shirtless Frazer McLaren hoisted a television camera onto his shoulder inside the Maple Leafs' dressing room on Saturday morning and proceeded to film his teammates as part of the HBO documentary series 24/7, which begins airing tonight.

Oh, the Maple Leafs are reeling, alright.

Unfortunately for them, it's the 2-6-2 record that's in sharp focus ahead of tonight's big-test Original Six matchup with the Chicago Blackhawks at the Air Canada Centre.

The Hawks, meanwhile, are attracting the paparazzi these days: Defending Stanley Cup champions, current league leaders, owners of a 7-2-1 record in their past 10, and basically riding a wave that could not be more opposite than Toronto's.
