Tyler Bozak was back on the ice Tuesday, just hours before Team Canada longshot Joffrey Lupul downplayed his chances of making the Team Canada roster despite Steven Stamkos’s recent injury.

Bozak, who has missed the past six games with a hamstring injury, took a significant step forward Tuesday in his recovery from a hamstring injury by skating in full equipment with strength and conditioning coach Anthony Belza at the MasterCard Centre prior to the Maple Leafs morning practice.

Because he is on the long-term injury list, Bozak is not eligible to return to game action until Nov. 21. Nor will he accompany the Leafs to work out with his teammates on their two game trip, which includes games in Minnesota against the Wild on Wednesday and Buffalo for a date with the Sabres on Friday.
