The Causeway St. Collapse.

If you are a Leaf fan, you have spent all summer attempting to forget. You want to wipe the memory out of your mind.

But you can’t.

And neither can the Leafs.

So here is Randy Carlyle’s team, six months after their epic Game 7 meltdown against the Boston Bruins, returning to the TD Garden (or “Gah-den,” as the locals refer to it) for the first time since blowing a 4-1 third-period lead en route to a crushing 5-4 season-ending OT loss last May.

Indeed, Saturday’s game is oozing with storylines.

Can the Leafs shake their Beantown demons?

Can James Reimer meet his goal of seeking redemption against a Bruins team that beat him three times in the final 15 minutes of regulation, then once in overtime on that forgettable day last spring?

Will Bruins fans be chanting “Thank You Kessel” again even though Tyler Seguin - the kid the Bruins picked with one of the first round selections acquired in the deal that sent Phil The Thrill to Toronto - was shipped to Dallas during the offseason?

So many questions. So much potential drama.

In order to keep track of all things Bruins-Leafs, join Sun hockey columnist Mike Zeisberger for a live chat at 6:45 p.m. Toronto time on Saturday night.

Debate. Criticism. Suggestions. Bring it on.

All the while, enjoy one of the most anticipated matchups of the young season.
