TORONTO - If and when the Maple Leafs do hold the Stanley Cup parade that Tim Leiweke has vowed to bring to Toronto, will Rob (Tommy Boy) Ford still be in office to hand over the key to the city?

The chief executive of Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment, who Tuesday reiterated he "couldn't be more excited" about the parade route he has mapped out to celebrate a future Leafs championship, continued with his brash talk when he compared the controversial Toronto mayor to the rotund movie character portrayed by the late Chris Farley.

"He's like 'Tommy Boy,'" Leiweke told a noontime gathering at The Empire Club of Canada, adding that he liked Ford.

What? No John Candy references?
