Having faced just six shots through the first 45 minutes of play Monday night, Martin Brodeur kept himself awake by watching James Reimer making spectacular save after spectacular save at the other end.

What was his alternative? Having a quick snooze?

Don't laugh. It did cross the mind of the future Hall of Fame goaltender.
