There was a real playoff atmosphere in the Air Canada Centre on Saturday night for the Leafs-Canadiens game, with a touch of nastiness, even though the Leafs carried a big lead since early in the first.

Fans from both teams are champing at the bit at the possibility of the two long-time rivals meeting in the playoffs. It has certainly been a long time since an epic Hwy. 401 series. The last time Toronto and Montreal met in the post-season was 1979, in the quarterfinals, with the Habs winning four straight games, out-scoring Toronto 19-10.
