A Maple Leafs-Montreal Canadiens matchup in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs?

Nah, the Leafs would just toy with their oldest rivals.

All right, maybe not. But a glance at the scoresheet on Saturday might have given an observer the idea the Canadiens would be no match for the Leafs in the playoffs.

There is no guarantee, of course, that the clubs will square off in the post-season for the first time since 1979.
