Nazem Kadri didn’t want to put it on.

He had no choice.

As a kid growing up in London, Ont., at the time, he had lost a friendly wager with his Leafs-lovin’ buddies over the outcome of a Toronto-Montreal game. The stakes: The kid whose favourite team lost would have to be decked out in the other team’s colours for an entire day.

So, Kadri swallowed his pride and pulled the jersey over his head, much to his chagrin.
