A couple of years in retirement probably took something off of Mats Sundin’s wrap-around backhand move.

But it has sharpened his sense of humour.

Mostly reserved in public during his decade-long captaincy of the Maple Leafs, Sundin let his humourous side show on Saturday night, when the team got around to his lockout-delayed Hall of Fame salute. Excitedly waving as he came out on the blue carpet, Sundin accidentally threw the ceremonial game puck at the Leaf starters
