TORONTO - The coach’s refrain was one that has been heard a few times at the Air Canada Centre this season.

But it wasn’t Randy Carlyle who was wondering aloud on Saturday night why his club didn’t compete for a complete hockey game.

“We didn’t battle for 60 (minutes),” Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien said after a 3-2 Maple Leafs victory at the ACC.

“We battled for 19. That’s the end of the story.”
