NHL Playoffs: BOS @ NYR

Maple Leafs, Red Wings poised for Classic again
By MIKE ZEISBERGER, QMI Agency

“That's a pretty good rumour,” NHL ccommissioner Gary Bettman said when asked about the chatter that has been going on concerning the 2014 Winter Classic being moved back to New Years' Day of next year. (REUTERS)

If there were any doubts that the 2014 Winter Classic could be called “The Buds at The Big House,” commissioner Gary Bettman pretty much erased them on Thursday.

The game was originally scheduled to take place at The Big House on Jan. 1, 2013 but was wiped out by the ugly labour dispute.
