RECAP: Leafs look to rebound against Islanders
By QMI Agency

The Isles celebrate a goal against the Maple Leafs earlier this season in Toronto. (QMI Agency/Files)

The Maple Leafs play the Islanders in Uniondale, N.Y., tonight looking to rebound from an uninspired performance on Wednesday at the Air Canada Centre in which they lost 5-2 to the Montreal Canadiens.

There’s no better place for a visiting team to get back on track than Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum where the Islanders are an NHL-worst 2-8-0 at home. New York beat Toronto 7-4 in their only previous meeting this season.
