Kessel eager to stay: Agent
By TERRY KOSHAN, QMI Agency

According to his agent, Maple Leafs forward Phil Kessel "would love to finish his career here in Toronto." (CRAIG ROBERTSON/Toronto Sun files)

Wade Arnott, the agent for Phil Kessel, told The Fan 590 on Wednesday that Kessel would prefer to finish his NHL career with the Maple Leafs.

The 25-year-old Kessel will be paid $5.4-million US in 2013-14, the last year of his contract, before he is eligible for unrestricted free agency in the summer of 2014.
