But when the Maple Leafs enforcer finds the back of the net, as he did in a 5-2 Toronto victory against the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday night at the Air Canada Centre, he would love to keep doing it.
“We can contribute in other ways than just forechecking and fighting and stuff like that,” Orr said. “It’s big when you get a goal from the fourth line. We try to bring energy. Guys get a big push from it.
“It felt nice to get that one in. Our line has been playing pretty good.”
The goal, at 2:05 of the second period, wasn’t a fluke. Orr went hard to the net, beating defenceman Nicklas Grossman to the puck and knocking a Frazer McLaren rebound past goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov.
